London Startup Map ("we", "us") is an interactive map of London startup offices and events. This page explains what we collect and the cookies we use. For any request about your data, email foo@startupmap.uk or use the contact page.

What we collect

• Analytics (only if you accept). If you click "Accept" on our cookie banner, Google Analytics and PostHog measure how visitors use the map: pages viewed, rough (city-level) location, device type, searches, filters, company opens, outbound clicks, share clicks, and session replay. This helps us improve the site. We do not learn your name or email this way. If you click "Reject all", browser analytics stay off.
• Startup submissions. If you submit a startup through our form, we collect the details you provide (including your name and email) to review and publish the listing and to contact you about it. Submitter emails are never shown on the public map.

Cookies we use

• Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*) — only after you accept. Used to count and understand visits.
• PostHog (ph_* storage and consent entries) — only after you accept. Used for product analytics, funnels, error context, and session replay.
• Your cookie choice — a small setting that remembers whether you accepted or rejected, so we do not ask on every visit.

• Reject analytics at any time using the cookie banner.
• Clear cookies anytime in your browser settings.
• Opt out of Google Analytics across all websites with Google’s official opt-out browser add-on.
